The Soap Tribune, Issue #025--Sunday market opening day May 2, 2021 April 29, 2021 |
Here comes SummerOnce again, we will be in booth 6 this weekend. We will have a special guest with us. Andrew, from OraBrite, who developed the Waterless Hand Soap with me. Come meet the person behind the inspiration, on Saturday. I am fortunate to be able to collaborate with this talented entrepreneur. Sunday, May 2nd, is the beginning of the Sunday Market season. It goes all the way through the last Sunday before Indigenous Peoples Day (Thanksgiving). The hours are: May-Oct 10-3pm Nov.-the last Sunday before Indigenous Peoples Day 10-2pm Our Sunday neighbors are Waid's Apiary and Bluebird Bakery, although I'm not sure Bluebird will be here this 1st Sunday. If you haven't been, Sunday markets have only about 50% overlap of Sat. vendors, and the pavilion is usually full. The crowd is also different and in a different mood. It's a more relaxed way to get your supply of local groceries and brunch out. Sunday on the waterfront is very pleasant.
